1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Net Pay & Salary Calculator Kenya (the "Service"), provided by Joweni.com ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is a free-to-use web-based tool designed to provide estimated calculations of net salary based on Kenyan tax laws and statutory deductions, including PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, and the Affordable Housing Levy. The calculations are based on publicly available data and our interpretation of the relevant laws at the time of the last update.

3. Accuracy and Disclaimer of Warranty

This is critically important. While we strive to make the calculator as precise and up-to-date as possible, you acknowledge and agree that:

1. The Service is for estimation and informational purposes only. The figures generated should not be considered as financial, tax, or legal advice.
2. Tax laws, rates, and regulations are subject to change, sometimes with little notice. We do not guarantee that the rates used in the calculator are current at the exact moment you are using it.
3. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
4. For definitive financial figures, you must always refer to your official payslip, consult with a qualified financial advisor, or contact the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) directly.

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service strictly in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You may not:

• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or extract data from the Service without our prior written consent.
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of it.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-entered data), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Joweni.com. This includes the design, text, graphics, logos, and software. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Joweni.com, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

1. Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
2. Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
3. Any reliance you place on the information and calculations provided by the Service.

Our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
