We provide a free tool to estimate M-Pesa charges based on public information. This is for informational purposes only.

Joweni provides a free-to-use calculator designed to estimate M-Pesa transaction charges based on publicly available tariff information from Safaricom PLC. The Service also includes related informational content, guides, and other tools intended to help users understand mobile money fees in Kenya.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy and Warranty

Our calculator is a guide, not a guarantee. M-Pesa rates can change, and we might not be instantly updated. For critical transactions, always double-check the fees with official Safaricom channels.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

  1. We strive for accuracy, but we do not warrant or guarantee that the calculations or information provided by the Service will be correct, complete, or up-to-date at all times. Safaricom PLC may change its M-Pesa tariffs at any time, and there may be a delay before our Service reflects these changes.
  2. Joweni is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Safaricom PLC or M-Pesa.
  3. You agree that your use of the Service is at your own risk. For any critical transaction, you must verify the charges with official Safaricom channels (e.g., the MySafaricom App, USSD menus, or customer care) before proceeding.

If you suffer a loss because of incorrect information on our site, we are not legally responsible. The tool is for estimation only.

In no event shall Joweni, its owners, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, financial loss, loss of data, or business interruption) resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, or from reliance on any information provided by the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
